So now you have your camera you need to understand how to use it.
There are many resources on the internet which will quickly help you to understand what your camera is capable of. My favorite way to fully understand how your camera works is to buy the Dummies book that has been specially written for your particular model.
These books are easy to understand and have detailed explanations and exercises you can do to fully understand exactly what to do. When I have bought a new camera I sit down with my new baby by my side and my copy of the Dummies book and go through it page by page. After about 3 days I know all I need to then go out and get those pics!
You Tube is a great and free way to see visually how your camera works, there will be countless videos to browse through.
Here's one I wrote earlier!
This is an E-book I wrote last year. It's a travel guide around Rochester in Kent with added photography tips. It's full of photos and covers the major landmarks you can see on the tour. It can be read and enjoyed even if you are not actually walking around this famous historical city and all for the price of a cup of coffee!
This Photography Masterclass by Evan Sharboneau is a step by step guide that will save you 100's of hours searching on the web and wading through videos and tutorials. In this easy to follow guide you will learn everything you need to know from how to hold your camera properly to using Photoshop and Lightroom.
I haven't downloaded this because I already have Photoshop and Lightroom but it looks very good and isn't expensive.
